There was a really good turnout for the Viet Nam Veterans Meeting. They meet the first Wednesday of the month--currently meeting at the Post.
If you would like to join or know of others who might just ask them to get in touch with one of the officers.
Several new members were added, including Charles Nobles, Gerald Burford, Steve Stewart, Mike Odom and Buck Garrett. There were several men from Fernandina present. The Association is definitely growing!
Their focus will be on Service to American and our community.
Jesse will be hosting Saturday night Poker this week. There will be a $25 buy in for $150 in chips---buy in is at 5:30 game starts at 6:00. Please RSVP to Jesse at (goldenpantherman@yahoo.com) or give him a call, to let him know you'll be there The charity focus at this point is Muscular Dystrophy.
Carmen is starting back with Wednesday night Fry Night for the month of July. Come on in and check it out. She has wings, fries, mushrooms, etc. on her menu.
Don't forget that tonight is Steak Night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Lisa will be with us for Karaoke tonight too.
Legion breakfast is on Saturday.
There will be Jackpot Bingo on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 PM
Sorry I couldn't get a letter out to you yesterday. I've got some computer problems going on. I have some attachments that I wanted to send with this one giving you the contact information for the VVA and I have the Menu for Carmen too. I'll get those out to you shortly.
