President's Message

Good morning fellow GENA members.  I hope all is well with you folks and you too are enjoying our wonderful fall weather.

Good Morning All, wishing for you a bright and beautiful day.  Is not this weather just beautiful, especially compared to what we had here last December.

Today, I am coming to all, to remind you of our Christmas Party on Dec 12th @7:00 p.m. same place, Cuba Hunter. I am reminding you that we are in need of everyone bringing a covered dish.  GENA, will be providing a Ham.  It need not be anything elaborate, snacks like chips and dip, some kind of salad, deviled eggs, dessert. These are just examples.  What ever that is comfortable for you to bring.  We are anticipating a full house so we are in need of these items to ensure that everyone has a good time.  In addition, we are sponsoring a needy basket for a family in need.  We are asking all to bring in a couple of canned goods, what ever you wish for this most deserving family.

Above all this has been a great year for GENA. Through all our ups and downs we are still standing and I feel we will be this way for many years ahead.  Lets celebrate this and lets share our happiness by coming together for a party.  Hey, we have all worked hard and we are deserving, so please mark your calendar.

We have a new President that is going to be official January first. Plan on coming out and lets all show our support for Ms. Suzanne Jenkins.  There will be many great things happening under Suzanne's direction and I urge all to jump in and lets make this the best of  rides.  Become a part of this wonderful organization, renew your memberships.  Our membership Cards for the upcoming year will be available at the Party and this is a great time to renew.  The wonderful part of this is that they are still the same price of $15.00.  We have not gone up on our price and will not as long as the economy is so poor.  I look forward to seeing all my old friends and new ones on this special night.

In closing, take care and have a wonderful day.
                                                       Jeanie- President of GENA
